    Default Transmission mount install troubleshoot

I recently bought the JBR tranny mount, tried installing it, but met the toughest bolt ever! The main bolt holding the stock tranny mount in, wont budge. I've tried using a large breaker bar, impact wrench! And it won't budge...
Any tips guys, or if someone knows what to do or has the tools I'd gladly pay for you to come fix it

Sorry to hear your having issues with it mate , I needed wd40 and a breaker bar to get mine out also , once I got it out it appeared to have a 'thread locker' type substance on the bolt ?

Drowned it in wd40! It's a bloody bitch! Will try again tomorrow, seemed like a pretty easy install till this bolt came in the way. Did any of you guys have any elevation on the engine with the jack, or just used it purely for support?

Leave WD 40 for couple of minutes n then use heat gun.

Really? thought Gen II would have no issues being more recent than the Gen I. Did mine with 130k on it and wasn't difficult. If anything thought would be but not. Just use some muscles. Keep going at it it'll come off.

Hmmm, will give the muscle another go, otherwise the heat gun idea sounds good. The problem is every time I place full force on the breaker bar, the socket keeps slipping off the bolt. So I have one hand holding it in place, while the other exerting a force anti-clockwise. And still a major fail whale -.-

Hey guys, I've given up. Might just take it to some place to get it done. I've already damaged the bolt enough ;(

good to hear! how have you found it? it does settle down quickly, it was almost the 3rd day when sadly all the big vibes went - i actually enjoyed my car shaking as it masked the rattles i have now
