Maniac.... What's he doing the KU36 235/40/18's for..... might be worth coming up to Sydney. Canberra prices are crazy.

Sure I can find some other things to do in sydney at the same time......

i will find out tommorrow for u champs, for reference...cost price for the Ku36 R18/40/225 is $220....he gives them to me for $230 (although im still running the more expensive RT615's)....probably at worst for you guys $250 per corner, the 235's will be cheaper still

these prices are for fitting and balance but not wheel alignment.

    anyone else need some prices?

Champs Im getting the Michelin PP2 in 235/40/18 for $270 tyre at Jax, they are an excellent tyre

Manic If you can get them for a better price than that might consider it, as Im contemplating comeing to get my guards rolled up there by a guy near Blacktown

Cheers BB but I have thrown about as much as I dare at these KU36's and they still hold..... That's why I recommended them to people here..... I know what your thinking .... who the hell is Kuhmo..... I don't know either but I tell you that they make some seriously sticky tyres.

@Maniac... What about those Kuhmo slicks I have seen on XR5turbo.com ???

the medium's are apparently as soft as the soft toyo r888's which ARE street legal......barely.....but i wouldnt recommend either of them as a daily driver....
    same price 4 medium/hard/soft

PLZ PM me if you want prices.....too hard to keep up with a thread with all the post whoring i have to do in fordxr5turbo.com

hey dood, after discussing with My mate we have come up with these suggestions. These tyres will last a while arent are excessively soft.

Falken ZE 912 235/40/r18 for $200 each fitted.
Also, he has a batch of Dunlop Dz101 235/40R18 for $240 fitted. They arent a bad tyre, good balance between longetivity and grip. The falken Fk452 are comparable and are $260 each for both width sizes.

    Semi's

You can also get the kumho semi slick ku36 for $280 for the 225/40/R18 or $220 for 235/40/R18 but these will not last as long as the above mentioned. Let me know and i will organise for you.

The RT 615's unfortunately just had a massive price hike and are $365 fitted for the 225/40/R18. Havent got the price on the 235 width yet. Probably a tad cheaper.

Bare in mind you can fit 235 no problems and they are cheaper because they are more common. If you have a specific tyre in mind or full slick please let me know. Dont ask about toyo, he cant do them cheap.
