Isn't that a question better directed to them?

It is not the responsibility of this forum to protect your privacy, so I hope that's not your angle.

You 'submitted' information electronically to a public arena under a pseudonym, and that has been linked back to you. There is no conspiracy here. The fact they deemed the info relevant is between you and AAMI.

I don't know what answers you're looking for from here - if you want sympathy from the forum - you have it. It sucks.

But beyond that, nobody here can say or do anything to change what has happened.

Take your lesson learned, and move on.

True onus on part of ozmpsclub is not to protect the person posting... but seriously are we all robots now conforming.... I mean how wrong is it..

i dont have twit or fb cause it causes to much problems... you would think a forum would be taken as hearsay... just my opinion

In all seriousness if someone chooses to start a forum post it is their decision. If they want the thread deleted they need to say so. Forums are public and people need to know this when posting, remember it is the internet, if someone really wants to find something out they can. People need to be very careful with what they make available on the internet.
I agree it is a bit of a joke insurance company staff troll forums trying to catch people out but this is business and they will try anything to reject a claim, unfortunately it is how most insurance companies act. I have had enough bad experiences with AAMI to say they are a pack of scumbags, they are cheap for a reason and it certainly reflects in their customer service.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but at what point did you expect car insurance to cover your blown engine? Perhaps I'm misinformed, and if so I take back all the following; but if you are trying to claim damages not rightfully covered by your policy, then it's you I have a problem with for causing my insurance premiums to continue to increase.

Did any of your posts indicate that you had done something to cause engine troubles?

If they did searches on Google or elsewhere for mps engines blowing up/water damage, they would probably find ozmps and probably your thread...

Ozmps is not a private forums, its easily searchable...

They will pay if their is a legitimate claim, not because you did something silly...

Stop being a whiny little shit, eat some concrete and take responsibility for your actions.

The information on this forum can be used to benefit and also hinder insurance claims. The insurance company is just doing its job when it gathers all the available information.

They were very clear in their reasons for denying the claim. Those reasons were that the evidence as they see it suggested an over revved engine. The claim was that water caused it but there is no way water will cause the top of a piston to detach. Water bends rods. It does the OPPOSITE of what actually happened.

The facts are cut and dry, stop trying to defame individuals just for doing their job, and doing it well I might add.
