    Hi Guys,

With Remotegts' permission I have updated the first post with the list of problems and resolutions (if we have them).

    If you could post things like;
Eg. 3MPS Gearbox "wong wong" noise -> (Penrite SYN 75W-90)

    That would be great!

Also if there is anything that needs to be updated in the first post/changed (Or any suggestions) please let us know by posting in the thread!

i have a noise coming from front right. kind of a kncoking lose noise.
makes noise when going over bumps and little to no load on engine. also when turning sharp left makes a doonk doonk noise.

what could it be? its not the shock as everything is tight and good there.
could it be an engine mount? or steering rack? lose swaybar? gonna have another look this arvo just checking if anyone esle has had this problem

nasa, I recently had my windscreen replaced and the blokes who replaced it said the new style of replacement screens have changed to the european style? which basically meant the black part at the top of the glass where the mirror glue's on is now gloss black instead of a matt finish which meant the glue doesn't take very well.

took them an hour and countless attempts to finally make it take !!

so anyways thats probably the reason.......

not much help but thought i'd share!

Well, after my endless dilema with regards to the speedo being so far out on my car, it was finally replaced. Pleased to say it is much better - still not perfect, but nothing a higher profile set of tyres should fix!

    Now to the new dramas!

    1. The driver's side on the front bumper seems to have broken clips or something, as it keeps riding up over the headlight. I can push it back down, but there is obviously somtheing wrong there...
    2. The bump-guard strips on the driver's side have started coming away. It started with the rear door peeling up, which then scraped off the front one every time we opened the rear door. It has chipped paint off the bump-guard on the rear door now, most unsightly...
    3. Brakes are strarting to get the wobbly fel to them, which I'm assuming means the rotors are warping.
    4. Front wheel alignment is out AGAIN dammit...

Have got her booked in for the end of the month to get these things checked out, and hopefully remedied
    Keep ya'll posted.

I have had the same problem with my right side door guards !!!

Started peeling after only 200kms, has anyone got this fixed through mazda ??
not sure if they will actually be able to fix the problem because the plastic seems too stiff to re-glue........very anoying

Adding front bump stops left and right to my front left shock absorber warranty claim...

Anyone else had bump-stops replaced? Took mine in today for new front left shock and now they're keeping it overnight because both front bump-stops are degraded and splitting, and they won't have the part until tomorrow sometime.

I figure the same unsealed roads (now sealed) that buckled (barely) one of my OEM wheels (big rock jutting out of a rut) is prob responsible for the shock and bump-stops both...

    1. Passenger seat belt clasp squeaking, replaced
    2.Rear shock leaking, replaced
    3.Drivers seatbelt clasp squeaking, lubricated
4.Front susp. squeaking, lower control arms noisy, both fronts replaced
5.Brake fluid leak, reservoir cap not sealing, replaced
6.Clunking when driving, rear engine/gearbox mount, replaced

Had the car picked up today, when I got home I took it for a drive..... REAR ENGINE MOUNT IS STILL KNOCKING AND CLUNKING AROUND!

Not very happy about this, I am seriously beginning to wonder about the competence of the mechanics at the service centre. 8:30 tomorrow I'll be having a nice chat to them.
^^^The message is up there stupid^^^

My experiences with Mazda service departments leads me to believe they are the sheltered workshops of the mechanical industry.

Hey all, I've moved the 6MPS problems and warranty fixes to the 6MPS thread, here:

    http://www.ozmpsclub.com/forum/tech-...nty-fixes.html

Given the amount of reported problems this thread was getting quite large with all the 6MPS problems added too.
    Cheers
    Chris
