Thread: Snapped shaft

    Default Snapped shaft

So i snapped the drivers side Intermediate shaft last wednesday night at the drags. This is the shaft that joins the gearbox to the CV shaft, It resulted in a 1hr tow truck ride home.
Thought it was the clutch at first but luckily it wasnt, as the clutch is far more labour intensive.

Holy Fck, are you replacing like for like or going something stronger? Better to have that as a week point instead of something more expensive going pop?
