maybe just popped a cable connector?
Have a look under the bonnet
I reckon that gear linkage (ball socket joint arrangement) might have popped off? See image below (just to the right of the 2XS plate)
All good. Cops gave me a push to safer location. Popped hood and saw the ball socket popped off.
So Andre u were spot on the money!!!!
Cheers guys!!!

I was surprised it actually popped out.. i always had to use a little spanner with some force to pop it off.

who needs those gears anyway, right? :P
It's happened to me twice
Oh and on a side note, I have the JBR plate with the bolt upgrade.
In my Pulsar SSS I had the arm bend and break on me. Apparently manufacturer fault, but out of warranty !!

Its pretty much an extension mount/bolt.
Most of us who bought it from MPSgarage during a special pricing got the new bolt after contacting them with proof of purchase. Was back in Mar 2010.
Trying to keep it subtle ... | COBB AccessPort | COBB DP | CP-e HPFP | CorkSport TMIC | TurboSmart BPV | Denso ITV22| CorkSport Boost Tubes | SURE Full3 Aeros | SURE REM (Street) | SURE AGS SS Shift Knob | 2XS SSP + SURE CounterShift | Speedline Front Strut Brace | Whiteline RSB | Prima Paint Protection
Well it popped off again today on southern cross drive during peak hr traffic !lucky I was able to coast through to a breakdown area!!!!!!
So gay…might have to revert back to stock.
Havent had an issue with the SURE ssp and weight (touch wood)
I think theres a problem with the end link thingy coz its very easy to pop off by hand. In the past, had to use a little spanner to pry it off when I first got it.
Gonna have a lookie during my lunch break
I have had the JBR SSP for over 2 and a half years, yet to pop off once.
