I have this sized rim on mine, you also need to work out what tyre sizes you plan on running, mine is pretty low in the rear courtesy of coil-overs, a 225-40-18 tyre (Kumho KU36) would scrub occasionally, however now with 235-40-18 Nitto NT-05s the car would scrub only going over speed bumps, suffice to say I had my guards rolled last week and there are no more scrubbing issues. Both the above tyres do have pretty meaty sidewalls though, a different type of tyre may not scrub as badly, if at all.
Make sure you get the hub-centric rings to suit the Mazda hubs, the 73mm hub diameter is pretty common for after market rims, the Mazda hub is 67mm iirc, the plastic ones will melt, crack and die pretty quickly if you drive hard, aluminium is the better option for these.
There are plenty of wheel & tyre topics in the forum, you just need to look for them.

Nearly all men can stand adversity. But if you want to test a man's character - give him power.
