    Hey all,

I'm Trying to find a good (ACTIVE) forum for Info & Events for Mazda Owners & am pretty Damn Sure this is the place

I Purchased a Mazda 3 Neo Sport 2008 5-Speed Manual with 64,000k's & Logbook about a month or so ago

It has been checked thoroughly & there is absolutely no problems with the car what so ever

The car has some Grunt for a 2.0L engine when you want it, All I can say is I Love the Zoom-Zoom !

Anyway I know its not an MPS, but its had a Very Caring Life Plus Picked it up for a steal at 13k so well under market value.

I Have done my reading & everything, talked to some Mechanic mates of mine, & have Planned "in my mind" to do the 2.0L Turbo Conversion and all estd $ 5000 once finished.

I wouldn't even be considering this if I bought it for 17-18k but as it was a Deal of a Lifetime I Have the option of doing something different with the money I would have spent. (Thank God for Foreigners that buy Manuals, Can only Drive Auto's & Their English is limited lol)

Anyway.... Hope to see Most of you's around.

From one new member to another, welcome.

The Brissie crew are all pretty friendly, and there's usually always someone up for a drive!

Looking forward to seeing the turbo conversion as it happens.

    Welcome.

Don't turbo it. Save your $5k and keep it to buy an MPS with, you'll get one for $17k if you look hard enough. Comes with all the extra bits you'd need to fix up on yours if you did go the turbo route.

This is the most sensible suggestion you'll probably ever hear regarding the conversion.

Does a NEO have pwr windows?

Seriously, turbo? I so missed that bit.

It sounds like you have a nice car there mate, but with changes like that, it will plummet in value.

But as @TD mentioned, a car that will give you smiles all day, everyday, is build to go fast, and has the brakes to match...an MPS...

PLus loads of "know it all's" @SarcasticOne and some "know not much's" @Yeldarb (can I self mention??) are here to give you all the advice you need...

Maybe you're a mechanic, or have done this before, then hat's off to you. We look forward to you adventures. Why not try AWD conversion as well

You'd better turbo it up if you're sick of looking at the hatch end of an MPS!

Speaking of upgrades, the owner of "TOT" is supercharging his SP25.
    @MPSPWR knows something about it.
