Big Brakes and Adjustments
HI GSL
Thought i would ask as many will prob be doing this soon. When going a 4 or 6 pot front brake kit how does it go with the brake booster and upsetting the cars balance under hard braking? If it does can the brakes and booster be adjusted to get it right?

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
We have just gained the ability to order Alcon caliper kits. So we are looking into it and will let you know as soon as possible.

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
Ok i have had confirmation that you would be able to upgrade to a 4 pot or even 6 pot caliper and it wont upset the balance nor will you need to muck around with the booster.

Alcon 6 pots - V8 Supercar spec! Those would stand a Mazda on it's nose!

Please find a kit that fits on stock wheels !

Im yet to find a kit that wont fit mine :P..

I've been quoted $3500+ for an AP racing 4pot kit. Apparently that requires custom brackets to be fabricated so the costs blow out a little.
Need more bolt on 4pot options. Preferably something that fits the stock rotor as well. $1600 for the 4pot brembos that Luke is getting is killer value when you consider how much new pads/rotors cost anyway, the upgrade itself is actually very cheap.

Subscribed!! Taking brakes to the next level soon. AP, Alcon, Brembo or Project Mu... Options GSL? Price differences pros and cons? Probably 4 pot but if price is right i'm willing to go like a 6

For anyone interested, we can now get Alcon caliper kits. The prices are as follows,
The Kit includes,
Alcon Mono 4 calipers
Alcon 335mm rotors
Ferodo DS2500
Bells and Brackets
Brake hoses
As the bells and brackets need to be custom made to suit, allow for a few weeks.
Cost would be $5199 inc gst and freight.
Cheers Matt

DAYUM!
Similar story to the AP racing kit I had quoted. Needing to get the brackets custom made costs way too much! What sets this kit apart from the Brembo 4 pot kit that Luke is getting for $1600?? At 3x the cost it better be pretty damn good!

$5k???
I know Alcon stuff is pretty good, but that seems a bit out there...

What happened to the Wilwood big brake kit?
