V8 would too heavy in the front and would ruin the balance. A nice light compact-sized twin turbo 2.5-3.0 litre V6 set well back might be nice. The shape is pleasing to the eye. Haven't seen many rear views. It might be aimed more either at folks who are going to tune the daylights out of it to get it to move properly or for the older folks who never had or want to revert to a sports car but don't need/want or can't handle a snort-thruster and are happy with good looks and the mildly interesting but not startling stock performance.
