Default Front Lateral Grip Tyre Suggestions

Im having trouble with front end lateral grip. When go into a round about hard you go to turn and it understeers, the oem dunlops felt much better for front grip than the tyres i have now. What tyre have you had that had that was really good front grip on your MPS3?

The RS3 has probably the best lateral grip and braking grip I have seen in a road tyre.

It does come at a cost though.

It is not the worlds best wet weather tyre, AD08 has it in spades there.

At highway speeds it is a tad noisey, like any extreme summer tyre.

But for dry weather grip I dont think you could go past the RS3 in the tyres I have tried.

Try Firmimg up your rear end or soften your front Swaybar/coilovers settings. If your balance is out of whack then the car will still carry the same attitude even with gripper tyres.

Mods in Signature, tyres are 235/40. Since changing from the oem dunlops it hasnt been the same. When i put the maxxis tyres on i have had many OMG moments with understeer. It has improved with mods but not completly removed it

You don't want to soften your rear sway bar. That will accentuate front grip/understeer issues

What tyre pressures are you running front and rear?

This, softening your rsb will make it worse.
