Thread: New member - In the market for 08 MPS

Default New member - In the market for 08 MPS

    Hey all,

I'm a new guy, I signed up since deciding I want to get into an MPS for my next car, and my experience with owning other cars has been to find a forum relevant to that model and all will be well!

I've been doing lots of research and have decided that a 2008 model would best suit my budget, I like subtle changes to the interior, and I like to think that it had any bugs ironed out (I've read they changed the rear engine mount, perhaps the turbo vanes? Could just be internet hot air....)

Colour wise I'm keen on metropolitan grey - but bottom line it has to be clean, i'm pretty pedantic about my cars!

I'm located in Melb so let me know if you see anything that might fit the bill!

Looking forward to learning and contributing.

    Cheers

    Mat

Hey Mat, welcome to the forum.
Where abouts in Melbourne are you? Would be happy to take you for a spin to give you an idea as to what an MPS can do. I'm in the Western suburbs.

Cheers mate. I've got an arsenal of menzerna and dodo juice products, and a DAS-6 RO polisher so I try to have a go at it myself mostly!

I'm hoping that metropolitan grey won't be too bad to keep clean/swirl free due to the heavy metallic.....

Yeah looks like the Garage Vary front lip.

I have the Gen 2 version on mine, and love it

Be aware that it can only be purchased from Japan, and that because it is so long, it will need to come sea freight.

Get ready for wallet pain if you go that way lol.
