Default Ticking noise from front left tyre

Hi guys, I'm stumped on this one, i have an MPS 6 and am getting a fairly loud ticking noise coming from the front left tyre area while I'm driving, sounds the same as a rock or nail in the tread but I've looked twice and there is nothing there... It speeds up as I do, slows down as I do, still there wnen I brake etc. Could it be worn brake pads? They do squeal every so often so prob need to be changed but I would've thought they would just squeal. Maybe wheel bearing or cv joint? I only just started noticing this about a month after putting new tyres on. I've taken the tyre off and can't see anything obvious, spun wheel while stationary and can't hear anything. Could there be something behind the wheel guard thats come loose? I might try swapping front tyres and see if it changes sides.

EDIT: god dammit it was a stone in the other side front tyre think my hearing is shot

    Heheheh

At least it was an easy fix mate

Props too for admitting it. Many would have just said "it's gone away, oh well"
