    Nope nope nope.

As good as white is, by the time you get a proper paint job done you will have been able to buy a new one anyway, cheap respray jobs are bad news.

    Ah, that car...
I would say you're looking at 5-7k for a whole car, unfortunately... that's what I got quoted for my Gen 1...

I agree stick with black as it will cost more than its worth for decent respray and engine bay will still be black.

Oh $hit... Respray the bonnet and spend the change on a paint correction and paint protection. Then you will love black!

    Respray black? Blasphemy!!!!
Like others have said, a good Respray can cost a lot, considering it would need to be all sanded back there's a bit of labour involved and expect a good job to be upwards on $10K.
But other than that, welcome and hope you enjoy the car like we all enjoy ours.
    Any mods planned for it?

    Hi and welcome!

If you are looking to get a respray on the bonnet and you're in NSW, Ken Shafer in Campbelltown did a great job on a respray of my front bar. I would definitely go back there for anything else I need resprayed (heaven forbid).

I`ve got some black paint and a brush you could have to fix up that Christmas Card scene on the bonnet. And a razor blade for the stickers.

Not sure why original owner chose to spray a log cabin on the front... interesting.

Congratulations on finally getting your MPS

Try and see if they will do a cashie respray price I reckon between $400 and $500 will get you a good job.
Oh and see if they can spray out that dumb looking smile while they are at it...lol.
