As far as I can remember as soon as you plug it in it copies itself on

Get an Ultraguage. $70~ from the US. Great little tool for clearing CELs and checking diagnostics

If you want something that'll actually log on to a PC or Mac I'm sure there's something that is cheaper than a Cobb AP

Not cool. No map matches my mods, and I have an ecutek dyno tune. When my warranty is out, what are my option peeps?

i'm scratching my head at that as well..... are you not happy with the Ecutek tune ?, you can get the Ecutek tune adjusted if you add mods.

    Default Cobb Access Port FAQ

I have the Ecutek and wouldn't change it for a Cobb app, that sort of defeats the point.

Sorry, I meant down the track with more mods, not changing anything atm...

Just get the Ecuteck retuned to suit new mods, i wouldn't worry about warranty as it's virtually null and void for engine failures with the ecuteck depending on the dealer.

Ok, throwing another random question here - I see some sellers of the AP specifically noting that their stock is only compatible with North American vehicles.

Surely this would just be a firmware update to make the AP compatible with our cars, right? I can't see there being any hardware differentiation...

I agree. If you already have ecutek you are flushing 1500 bucks down the shitter.

So I take it there's no need to specify an Aust. compatible model when ordering then. Sweet.

I knew about the LC, but didn't know I could alter the cold start. Very cool.

The COLD START is pretty loud on these so I was able to reduce it a little. My 3" exhaust doesn't help either the only was to reduce my cold-start volume further is a oval muffler (similar to stock setup) but it doesn't phase me to much, when its warm its perfect.

I thought about tuning down the cold start rpm range and then I remembered that my exhaust has nowhere near the decibel range of my neighbour's SS.

Coincidentally he leaves around the same time as me so his car drowns my car out. :P

    Nifty program though.
