    Default The Options **HELP PLEASE**

Ok... Narrowed down tires within my price range....

if people could help me out with which ones to go with that would be great...

these will sort of be a band aid fix until they wear out and i can save a little more for better rubber... at this point i just need new fronts urgently !! And don't have the cash to splurge on nice ones !!

    sorry... Fitted to stock rims

On stock rims? If so most of the 225/40 are technically unroadworthy - minimum 7.5" rim width specification.

I voted for sumitomos. Based on the all the good reviews I'm going to try them when I need new tyres. I've had Falken 912s on the MPS, never again. Also had two sets of Proxus4's on the MPS, they're a good tyre, but in that size I'd expect to pay around $210 for them.

I've heard good things about Sumitomos too, but being stock rims I voted the Yoki's not sure how well 225 works on 7" you may get some sidewall flex under load, is what I've heard/read.

only reason i went that size was because i read that...Wardski .. had fitted it with sucess and recommended it... and also i couldn't find much in the standard size ?????

i thought to yokis also but have read a few bad things on them.... ???.. parantly there the Achilles Heel of the Ralliart Lancer ??

is there really going to be an issues with fitting 225 40's ???? i thought lots on here had done it ??

if i changed the above to 225 45.... would that make a difference ?? in fitment...

225/45 is size of choice for stock rims. No worries with specifications not meeting requirements. Sumitomo HTRZ-III are excellent bang for buck IMO.
