Default Corksport LED Rear Reflector Replacement

I'm sure these exist already in another brand - but saw this pop up on FB:

They look almost identical! These come in either red or clear/smoked.

Mind if I ask what you paid for them? And did they come with wiring loom?

At the time they were about $55 for the pair plus $10 shipping

Loom is attached but no instructions came so we had to test which wire was which

1 original Mazda reflector with no LED was $90 at the dealer $50 wholesale so I decided to buy these

SO from the pictures, you've wired them to the park lights rather than the stop lights?

Easier to tap into your numberplate light wiring than going all the way into the boot area for the brake lights

I think with these ones you can wire them to brake + parkers, so that they illuminate brighter when braking, but are dull with just parkers on, as well as flashing during indicating (wank factor). I may also be wrong - this has been proven in the past.

These only had Parker/brake function which I tapped into the rear lights for.

    Pretty easy to do

If you just want Parker, then yes, the number plate light is easier

Does that mean that they get brighter with the brakes on?

That's what I did. Wasn't too hard actually. There is a bung you can push the cables through from under the rear panel to the wiring of the tail lights. So you get dull for Parker and bright for braking. Did not do wank factor indicators

I'm glad you saw the humour in it. I got done by SacasticOne!

The only way is to see if you can use it on someone else!

The corksport ones come with 16 LEDs per reflector whereas the ebay one has only 8. Dont know which one to go for..
