Thread: Sure motorsports purchasing

    Default Sure motorsports purchasing

    Hi everyone,
I've finally decided that I'm going to install a Sure Aeros to my gen 2
I wanted to know how people rate sure stuff ? And also to see if anyone knows if you can source in Aus, the postage prices are extreme !

    I can't wait to get one !

    Hi Tommo,
Ive got some Sure Motorsports products on my car and I cant fault it, quality is great. If my memory serves me right, I found that shipping was cheaper when I purchased from the Streetunit website instead of the Sure website. I believe the two companies are somehow related so you get the same pricing and a bit cheaper shipping. Oh yeah one other thing if you purchase from the Streetunit site remember to google for "coupon codes" and you will probably be able to find one and get an extra 5%-10% off the purchase price.

Hope this helps your out, all the best with modding your car.

    Cheers.

I've got a bunch of their products on my car - quality is superb! And I definitely agree with jnt and cannot fault them one bit.

You don't really need to think twice about their products, pricing is decent as well!

I beleive that SURE stands for Street Unit Race Engineering?

SURE was setup by the operator of Street Unit to produce cost effective products for Mazdaspeed/MPS vehicles.

Just ordered a SURE REM. I too thought the shipping was steep. But I can purchase the SURE pay for shipping and still have it cheaper than purchasing the CPE product locally... Simple maths for me.

    I just purchased:

    SURE Aeros™ in Stealth Black
    SURE Anchors™
    SURE CounterShift™ in SURE Blue
    SURE Element Shield™
    SURE ShortCut™ in SURE Blue
SURE Torq R3™ in SURE Blue with Street Urethane
SURE TVS Caps™ in Stealth Black
    Threadlocker Loctite
    SURE BSD™

Got a better deal thru the Sure Motorsport website than the Street Unit Website on shipping

Good selection - got everything you bought except the BSD + Caps!

Careful with the Caps as they're notorious for going walkabout!

Oh really. I'm guessing you mean "stolen". Well the ones I have keep fading, so I threw em in the order.

I was gonna get the TorqR3 Track, but was afraid it was gonna be too hard.

The BSD is a new thing. Read up a few thugs about it and thought it was a good buy.

    See how we go

I've tried to find info on the bsd. Be interested to get your feedback on the bsd install.

let me know when you decide to do your BSD as I've had my one sitting on my shelf for a bit, just never got around to installing it.

BSD = Balance Shaft Delete, removing a (large) weight in the oil pan area, requires dropping the oil pan, removing the large weight, inserting BSD, glueing oil pan back on.

I've also got a PTP Windage tray to put in at the same time
