Does anyone know the law in Victoria about heatshielding or covering the pod on your intake

I'm watching a heated discussion between 2 people and I sorted need to know the answer

99.99% certain an air box is required (in Vic at least)

    Nope not required
    Found it

You can have open pod but not with a modified intercooler. One or the other.

No oiled or oil dipped pods.

To be honest Dan. I agreed with you before finding that document on the EPA website and was s**ting myself thinking how I was gonna cover the Sure Aeros

I still wouldn't mind it covered, but at least I have time to find a way

Maybe check with Troy to see if his airbox will work. It uses the factory air intake ducting too

Come by and have a look at mine anytime if you like

just as a fyi, you'll need a tune or something after fitting that... the increase in MAF size will cause your car to chuck a massive fit unless it's calibrated properly

Mark said you can purchase either standard or 3" MAF for upgraded turbo etc. Standard is $385, 3" is $415.

I have purchased sure products from both street unit and the sure websites. The quality and packaging is amazing for the price. Shipping costs are a little steep but I have never had to wait any more than a week for anything to arrive. If your worried about shipping costs get together with some other people... or just order more of the other stuff for yourself .
Only ever had one problem. The SURE sidewinder didn't ship with the steel adaptor rings. I have heard of this happening a few times with this part. It only took one email and they were here with the week. I think they have this sorted now though.
