If you are looking to buy a Quaife Lsd in the near future i checked out their website
585 pounds / 895 aussie dollars compared to $1830 from mps garage
Not sure what the shipping would be from the uk but i thought its not a bad price buying direct

My Astra mate did a group buy of Wavetrac diffs and postage was about $100 each from a group buy of 5 people so i think that would be the ball park.
A quaife is definitely high up on my priority list. If I could get one delivered for less than $1000 then I would pretty seriously consider it. Depends how much it will cost to get fitted as well.

Checked the other day the one from Corksport, 1.2k plus around $100 for shipping. Not bad but no idea what the cost for the installation.
My one came from the UK

Tunehouse fits them quite often for XR5 owners cause the stock front diff they come with is shite.

IF anyone wants a quaife ATB Differnetial for the Mazda vehicles, RPW has been importing quaife units for many years and we are an unofficial dealer for them
I will update our website with there part numbers and pricing but on average we sell a quaife ATB unit for around $1300.00 incl GST. I will put up some information in our sectin of hte forums. If there is interest of a group buy, then we are happy to get one happening.

I won't be shipping my gearbox to them or driving the vehicle that far for an install, and besides, the whole point of hearing some installation quotes is to get a comparitive idea on the cost. And I want to be getting a quote from someone who's familiar with the product and installation. In other words, while MPSG can give me a price, I sure as hell won't be using them so why would I waste their time asking for a quote, and secondly, it goes precisely nowhere in terms of actually finding someone to fit it at a reasonable cost.
So for those who've had one fitted, and there's at least one out there....the question stands..........How much?

I have done some reading over on fordxr5turbo.com because a quaife is quite a common mod that they install in their cars due to the stock diff being a giant pile of shit.
The MPS front diff is a LOT better than the ford one, but we can still benefit from having one installed. From what I have seen installation costs (Labor + Fluid) run at about $800-$1200 depending on who you ask. I intend on asking tunehouse about this for the MPS as they do a lot of XR5's there so should know a thing or 2 about it but I haven't got around to it just yet. Besides I will probably have an anti lift kit installed before splashing out on a front diff to see if that helps enough with traction out of corners to keep me happy.
I cannot give a price on fitment, as never having fitted one I don't know. This is a service we could provide WA Customers only.
I can say from personal experience with my own vehicle and customer vehicles, quaife is in my opinion the best package on the market for our vehicles. They drive like a normal vheicle at low speeds, no special oils, but when you need them to work they are fantastic. For the MPS3 vehicles they are absolute gold.
We regularly import from quaife so if you don't need to wait until a group buy is organised. Just gives us advance order and we will group it with our other orders. As we order 10 - 20 units at a time from quaife, we get larger discounts from them which keeps the price low for everyone.
We actually supply quaifes to other trade firms, which can be why the pricing gets marked up so much.
