Default Aftermarket REM anyone who has one should check theirs!

So this morning I swapped over my cp-e 60 Duro for a Sure Torq R3 Track Spec. Couldn't believe the cp-e mount had a crack!!! I've had the c-pe for about 14 months only. It hasnt felt any different in the car. Is it still okay to be used, I'm sure it is cause I haven't noticed any difference or know how long its been like that. Anyone else change their aftermarket one to another and noticed this?

Yeah, I'm hoping its not too bad but looking forward to the shifts...who ever needed bones anyway

Did your cpe mount feel different when it was broken? I thought I was just getting used to mine, but looks like it was actually getting softer...

Anyone know if co-e do a warranty on their REM? Through MPSG or something?

CP-e has life time warranty so is just a matter of contacting the shop bought it from.

It's vibe-tastic. They have settled a bit, but heaps of rattle on slow takeoff. Once moving its great, good shifts and gets the power down. Makes a mean sound when up shifting too

Definitely agree! Vibetastic anything below 1500rpm on take is crazy but great above so only in 1st gear on take off is bad. Sometime do get strong vibes when going down a slight hill decelerating in 5th. Other than that shifts are better and def hear the rpms more!

I think we'll find that REM mounts of the CPE AND Sure design will be medium-term consumables - that is they'll display degradation after a year or two.
I think it's a product of the shear forces that are placed on these (and the OEM) mounts
I'd expect the CPE stage two mount, which solves the shearing load problem, will last much longer without this happening.
I definitely don't expect the sure to be any different - it will crack eventually.

CPE stage two might also reduce vibes by eliminating shear load.

i've currently got my turbine tech front engine mount off, but this definately aids in holding the engine in place.

you need the engine load shared across all mounts. stiffening one mount, will just add more pressure on the side mounts. unless you also upgrade the side mounts of course. but I dont think I could handle the gearbox whine with the aftermarket mounts these days.

i need to get the turbine tech mount back on, but even this adds extra noise, tho very little extra vibes

CP-e Mounts have a lifetime warranty send the mount back to the place of purchase & have it replaced.

I wonder if it could be credited towards a stage 2?
