Default Cobb TIP & Cp-e CAI just arrived

Alrighty after something like 6 weeks my TIP & CAI have finally arrived from the rpmstore.
How long should I budget to get these installed?

Pretty excited to get into it!

I would say a couple of hours 2-3? mostly because of the TIP.

You are going to run into a little problem I think.

The Cpe CAI is a 3" intake but the Cobb TIP is designed to take the oem 2.5" plastic elbow...Well if memory serves anyway.

Well they sent me the the wrong TIP. It's for the 07-09 MPS 3.
    Awesome.

The cp-e CAI comes with a 3" - 2.5 " silicone reducer elbow to allow it to fit to the stock / Cobb 2.5" TIP.

Out of curiosity, how did you manage to buy cp-e gear from RPM store, I thought it wasn't allowed to be shipped to Australia due to mpsg's local sole trade agreement.

Edit : I think the TIP is a common part between models.

Yeah cheers mate, they seem to fit both at least that's what Google said.

Not sure about your second query.

I thought you could buy parts from resellers, just not direct from the manufacturers...

I asked rpm store for a shipping price on a cp-e part and was told that they aren't allowed to ship to Oz, mind you this was quite a while ago, maybe cp-e have since revoked their agreement with mpsg.

Maybe the less we talk about it the better.

Cobb TIP and Cp-E CAI for the win! The same combo I have on my MPS6. You may need to modify the CAI mounting plate as it puts pressure on the A/C refrigerant pipe which you don't want.
Other than that the intake is pretty straight forward to install. The TIP might be a little more tricky due to the location. Probably have to remove the battery for better access

Yeah Rog, my 6 can be like your 6s retarded side kick

I'll post pics as I go. Saving for the down pipe now!
Then FMIC and tune will follow.
