Default screw stuck in tyre, help!

Just wondering what would be the best thing to do if getting a phillips head screw stuck into the tyre. No idea how long it is, but its firmly in place. could only be stuck in the tread, but im not too sure.

Any advice on if it should be left in the tyre or removed?

leave it in the tyre and take it to tyre place for repair, hopefully its not near the side wall otherwise u will need a new tyre

Make sure they take the tyre of the rim.

DO NOT allow them to repair it whilst its still on the wheel

Yes very good question, I had a plug put in recently and they took the tyre off the rim to fix it (forgot to ask the reason though).
    R36 - Just like an MPS6 except with a growly V6

Do nothing except take it to a tyre place. The second you take it out you're buggered.

I get this once a month - I live in a new area and with houses being built all around and the nice low profile tyres are a magnet for screws and nails.

The only time I've had screws so frequently as that was because an idiot down the road thought it was funny to put screws in the tires. Busted him once with his cordless drill after I heard it out the front and went to look.

He did it to my neighbors too. At one point I couldn't leave my car in my own driveway, or it would "pick up" a screw.

He stopped after I traded up to the MPS - I presume he either noticed it has an alarm or knew if I busted him again I'd be onto the authorities and have my phone camera out.

I discussed it with a police driver trainer once who's left the force and does consulting. He suggested if it happens that often to get some security cameras on it.

I don't think low profiles are any more prone to them than any other tire, frankly. Tread depth might have a bearing.

Something to do with the high failure rate.
