will last a long time, bit different note. and stainless cant rust.

Mild steel will last 5+ years when coated right.
Ceramic coating will make it last alot longer again and decrease engine bay temps.

CES use thin wall stainless, it may be lighter, but, it creates a slight "ring" when given to it. It creates a different note.
For my exhausts, I now use aluminised mild steel pipe work. It's a longer lasting coating.

With the twin outlets like the Corksport downpipes, is it possible to open the wastegate outlet so it is VTA creating a screamer pipe like effect?

I find the argument of stainless exhausts lasting longer than mild steel somewhat superfluous.

Yes it will last longer, but when was the last time anyone had to change their mild steel exhaust in a modern car that was less than fifteen years old due to corrosion?

I'd also be surprised if more than a handful of people here kept their cars past ten years.

Factor in the sometimes substantial price difference between a mild steel and a stainless steel exhaust, and the argument pretty much ceases to exist IMO

That makes sense. Plus with a decent coating it's going to last even longer before crap from roads can do any damage.
The only places that might see rust would be around the joins and O2 sensor id think and the are pretty tucked away.

    only legal reasons.

But, I have done quite a few "street" cars with screamer pipes.
(by "street", I mean registered, not so much legal......)

It's a fad that has passed, but, I still seem to do the odd few.

    No.
Problem is, I don't have a jig for the 6

I do have the std DPs, I could have a look at possibly making something work.

I had the 2XS Twin DP on my MPS3 (when I had it). I would not have chosen any other system but Troys.

It also sounds the goods too!

Ahhh.. well judging by the Corksports downpipe, all that would need to be done is cut the internal dump that's recirculating and weld the hole up on the exhaust? And make a wall thingy to block off the wastegate from exhaust hole? Sound about right?

Yes, it's simple to do, if you have the skills.

I have the skills, just the hole thats going to be welded up on the exhaust exit will be ugly.. haha

Do you know if extending the wastegate pipe will make it any louder or?

It won't change the volume or note by extending the pipe.
