Long story short, I was having a go at Kyle and Jackie O's Cruze Car Challenge today and ended up in my car at clareville where a couple of girls in a BMW 1 Series came and blocked the road, I spun a quick U turn but got a bit overzealous and hit a gutter. Silly and completely my fault but all in the name of fun!
It took a chunk out of my sidewall as well and I was worried i'd punctured it, but everything seems Kosher now, pressures haven't changed and it looks mostly superficial.
Lucky for me it's the same wheel that already had gutter rash, it's the unlucky one but thankfully, the only one that this has happened to.

Ouch man, that sucks, but sounded fun though. Where are the picks of the chicks in the 1 Series ?????

Mel did it in her Mazda 2 recently, the most depressing noise in the world really.

So sorry to hear mate. I agree it being a sound you don't wanna hear.
If your in Melb. The Magic Hand Car Wash in Vermont South can fix rims. They fixed 3 rims for me for about $330
The people that fitted my Tyres scratched one my Rims recently so I'm booking another appointment

Took the car down to the one at Botany, he quoted about $170 and 2-3 days. Will pull the wheel off and drop it off there this arvo.

Got it back, wheel looks good as new. Can't pick where the damage was before. Cost $180 so I wouldn't want to do it too regularly but they certainly did a good job.
