    Get a load of Nissan’s GT-R estate!

    Muscle car’s nose has been grafted on to Japanese-market Stagea.


    13th March 2009


    Here’s a car you never thought you would see. Your eyes aren’t deceiving you, it’s an estate version of the Nissan GT-R!

    The station wagon was revealed at the prestigious Nagoya Auto Trend Motor Show in Japan earlier this month.

    At first glance it looks like the ultimate load-lugger. But actually it’s a Nissan Stagea – a domestic market model that rivals the Subaru Legacy estate. A GT-R-style front end has been grafted on – but unfortunately that’s where the similarities end. There’s no twin-turbo V6 under the bonnet of this beast.

    It’s the work of Nagoya-based tuning outfit Kids Heart, which is well known in Japan as a specialist manufacturer of bespoke models for use in drifting championships.

    Bosses there say they will be putting their creation on sale as a complete customised car. It will be priced around 2 million yen – which is around £15,000

    That thing is the shiznit........I've always loved the old Stagea with a GT-R front end. I saw loads of them when I lived in Japan.

    This one is even better.

    Pretty much I just saw it and instantly blame Nissan haha I blame them for a lot of things

    yea there is one every afternoon when i head home.. has this massive body kit on it looks like the a Space Shuttle... Huge wing hanging off it...

    That looks great, it just needs the same running gear as the GTR...

    I have just moved, and christ I wish my car was a wagon...and that would be perfect if it had the performance to match the peoples expectation when they see the front end...
