So, is it the bit he's pointing to with the red arrow in the picture? Or is it rubber on the actual car?

It's the rubber in the bracket

If you have a look at the first pic (the installed sure rem not the one with the arrow you can just see the rubber on the bracket

so you mean the rubber on the silver bit in between the 2 "forks" of the rear engine mount?
if so, you'll have to go see mazda or something like that

I finally know what you're talking about

Here is another pic with a new arrow Is this the correct rubber bit now ? Yeah, like sarcastic said...I think you'll need to see Mazda about this. Once you get the correct part number call few Mazda dealers spare parts departments to get a rough idea on price. I found not all dealers have the same price..especially in Sydney.

My car was bought only last year so I didn't notice any degradation on the rubber. I suspect others with Gen 1 may have.

When I give it a squirt I still get abit of wheel hop could it be that rubber in the bracket or just the tyres on my car? Only in first n second gear

Wheel hop wouldn't have anything in relation to the REM I don't think.
Either your tyres, or TOO MUCH POWERRRRRRR

Installed my Sure REM today (street urethane)

Also a JBR driver's side mount (also street grade)

The combo has made for significant vibes at this stage. Most noticeable at idle and above 4500rpm.

Time will tell if it settles down.

Only driven the car for 30 minutes, but did give it some on the highway. Gearshift has improvement heaps. Buttery smooth changes; no longer notchy. Throttle response is much better with less lag after pressing the loud pedal.

Feel and feedback is amazing. Definitely the best thing about the change.

Overall I'm happy and the gains are well worth the $$ spent.
