Default Dashhawk software & logos for MPS

For those of you with Dashawks, or thinking of purchasing, here is a link to the last "reliable" version of the current firmware on these devices,

    http://www.ozmpsclub.com/files/v25Beta9setup.zip

You should be aware that this was a beta test version, which was made publicly available via the Dashhawk forums, I have been using this software on mine for many months now without any issues.
It has also been considered to be the most accurate version of the firmware with the added Mazda specific vaules.

Simply download the link (~50Mb), and follow the instructions below,

    UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Download v25Beta9setup.exe

    2. Uninstall the previous DashHawk application using the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel. (Only delete the actual Dashhawk app, the driver is still required)

    3. Run the V25Beta9setup.exe to install the new Beta 9 application.

    4. Launch the DashHawk application after install completes

    5. Choose UPGRADE and then choose the file v25Beta9.enc

    6. Wait until the DashHawk is successfully flashed

    7. Unplug and HAPPY TESTING!

I have also made some MPS logos for the splash screen, both the same logo but one is inverted, the one you download will appear the opposite on the unit, to how it is displayed on your computer monitor, i.e the inverted logo will appear normal (black logo on coloured screen) and vice versa.

Feel free to post or PM me with any questions,

    Matt.

As stated in the original post, it is a beta version, but was the last version with the updated, and supposedly most accurate Mazdaspeed PIDs, subsequent versions were believed to have affected the integrity of the Mazdaspeed data before the project was scrapped.

Does this beta version include a reading for exhaust gas temp (EGT), as my DH doesn't display this

I think youll find the EGT reading requires and additional sensor, you can use the Cat temp PID to get an idea of whats going on exhaust temp wise.

    THanks matt.
Just for those that ARe running windows VISTA 64 and 7 Ultimate and having problems with USB... this is the work around ..Download Windows XP Mode
XP mod. Took a bit to work it out in windows 7 64 bit . There are tutorials on how to set it up if needed.
Then follow Matt's instruction through the xp mod.
Logo's good 2 .. just a note on the Virtual drive in XPMod if it plays up you will need to go into bios and select virtual drive sup, disable. reboot then restart again go into bios and enable.
