Thread: Evo X Wheels - MR BBS and GSR Enkei

  1. #1

    Default Evo X Wheels - MR BBS and GSR Enkei

    Item: Forged Evo X BBS & Evo X Enkei
    Location: Perth
    Item Condition: Second Hand
    Reason for selling:
    I have too many wheels, one of these two sets must go.
    Price and price conditions:
    Forged Evo X BBS - 2k
    Evo X Enkei - 1.5k
    Extra Info:
    I have two sets of evo X wheels here - only really planning to sell one set and will most likely hang onto the second set for the 6. So depends which sell first.
    Prices are negotiable but don't include postage (will deliver in the Perth metro area).

    I've spun up both sets of wheels and they are all dead straight with no wobbles. There is no gutter rash on any of the wheels, though there are some small marks from fitting/removing tyres and also from wheel weights (refer to the pictures - I can supply plenty more pics on request). But they basically look new.

    Hmmm BBS rims.....

    They probably too Euro to suit a Japanese car like the MPS though.

    He's a member on the wrong fitment crew site. He goes by 'ihartmyhatchie'. Follow this thread and see how his car evolved to having the blue Enkeis;

    http://www.wrongfitmentcrew.com/foru...-s-hooptie-MS3

    I asked him some time ago about the colour of his rims, he PMed me this reply;

    "My wheels were powdercoated. And the official name of the powder coat is "Candy Teal."

    To get it this specific shade... Candy teal was put on over a base layer of mirror silver."

    I believe his rear guards were rolled and pulled. Most of those wrong fitment guys do the same to their MS3's.

    Sorry for the thread hijack Nick. But this car made me want to get Enkei rims so it made inspire a potential buyer!

    BBS are 9.3kg, Enkei 9.9. There aren't too many pics of the BBS, they're pretty hard to find given very few people fork out 90k for the EVO X MR!

    90k for an MR? They go for $75k drive away (depending on state).

    Maybe it was 80k - but the point I was making is the mr is extortion compared to a gsr hence the wheels are harder to find.
