Not sure if you did, but remove dipstick, clean the oil off the dipstick and check it again.
If its still at that high level, them i'd give it an oil change.
5.7L is the correct amout for referance sake
Btw, only check oil levels COLD

When the engine is warm/hot the oil that was in the sump (where the dipstick measures from) is circulating around the engine. So you'll only get an accurate oil level when the engine is cool/cold as the oil then comes back to rest in the sump

Interesting.... the manual from my gf's Eunos says to warm the car up and then let it sit for 5 mins before checking it.
To the OP - You've probably checked this... is the car on level ground?
