Be careful with PG, they have a reputation for being very slow to deliver - which was the case with the first ETS GB back in 07. On the otherhand I've bought stuff from them that did arrive on time. Just remember promises mean nothing on the internet and even less when you're not the manufacturer of the actual products.

I've never been able to buy anything from SU just because they won't accept non verified (i.e. Australian) credit cards.

Yeah - SU are proving hard to deal with - I'll admit that!

Ive had the same experience with SU - Im glad im not the only one. Funds were actually taken from my credit card but SU could not access them. Very frustrating! I think it is a bit 'hit and miss' when it comes to using credit cards to buy from them. They told me some Aussie cards can be verified, some can't.

Lots of interest in this GB - good stuff!

I think it's more likely that SU don't deal with non-verified cards as it is a potential CC fraud risk.

Have only heard good things about the ETS, check the comments when you compare the two,

    StreetUnit.com - Premier MAZDA/MAZDASPEED SPECIALISTS
Is anyone else wondering why SU have comments relating to the ETS unit on their website? Says nothing good about the product that the only comment available refers to a competitors product.

Am I reading something wrong? ???

I quized SU on the phone and they said both units will perform the same, when i asked why did they make one he answered:

"The ETS has had some mounting plate breakages/issues" and ours "has a better finish".

I agree with the finish, unaware of breakages.

I have heard of people breaking off a mounting lug that they were trying to bend to get an exact fit. Not a big issue, but one to be careful with. They had it welded back on from what I recall.

Yes, It was a bad batch from what I remember.

The fact that they look almost identical suggests that SU just wanted to get in on the market with no genuine improvements.

ETS has the option of polished as well, but after 2 months of driving and they'll both look the same.

    OK, update.

We're still ironing out the final details re the ETS one, the biggest issue we have is that the USA dont like taking our Credit Cards or Paypal as they can be verified (wtf). A wire transfer is the only option they take, which means one of us has to stump up all the cash in advance... Postage to individuals looks like $135US, so the ETS would be $630 USA.

Street Unit (SU) have pretty much said ta-da's to the GB. At the end of the day, their TMIC is a pretty version of the ETS.

BUT.......THE LADS AT MPS GARAGE HAVE COME UP WITH AN OPTION OR 2. It must be made clear that the MPS Garage units are still in development and there are 2 options we can ask them to persue:

    1. A cheap chinese intercooler core which will cost us about $850 (inc GST) per unit and will perform about the same as the ETS etc.

    2. A dogs b@llox/ducks nuts Australian manufactured core which could be nearly as efficient as a front mount (without the associated issues) for around $1150 (inc GST).

In saying this, the units are in an R&D stage and will only be tested when one of us buys one - all the MPS Garage test cars are running FMIC's, so one of us would have to be a ginuea pig. IS there anyone in sydeny with a reasonably stock car who would consider being the first one?

It will take around a month for the MPS Garage TMIC to be ready. ETS have no current stock in the USA.

I know what I'd rather do...thoughts ladies and gents?

I'd go option 2 this sounds pretty good and if MPSgarage get it right, could be a goer, shame I don't have a spare $1150 though, have to add it to the wish list

If MPS garage wants someone to test their stuff, I assume that someone will get the product free of charge right?

I have dealt with MPS Garage before and have items still on order with them
I am close to stock with only a DP
so if they want a tester I am willing,
also I don't live very far away from them
however I think there prices are high ( you could buy the ETS individually and still be cheaper then $1150 )
