Yeah I said in my post he went to get a tune at CT
Have seen STI's that are tuned only pulling 195-196 so is a pretty good effort at all 4's

Awesome numbers, but the Dyno is a 3rd gear pull, so figures will be slightly inflated. He's also gone for a power tune, where as I went for a conservative tune during a time when every man and his dog in the USA was blowing ringlands and bottom end bearings.

Nah mate, mine has plenty of powah, of which 99% of the time I don't even use. Interesting to note, my torque curve is far sharper (FMIC related?) and I have 10-15 more Nm torque top end. Just goes to show Subaru have made a winner with the 2010-2011 series. Next year we will have the DISI boxer - this could be the excuse I need to upgrade

Out of interest, gear ratios's WRX vs STi

    5 speed ('11 WRX):
    1st 3.166, 2nd 1.882, 3rd 1.296, 4th 0.972, 5th 0.738

    STI 6 speed (08-11):
    1st 3.636, 2nd 2.235, 3rd 1.521, 4th, 1.137, 5th 0.970, 6th 0.756

    agreed, need 4th gear reading.

Bakis; the guy with 175kw @ wheels from an Sti!? wtf, that is damned low. my tuned My98 WRX had 178kw @ wheels. Something very wrong there...bad dyno or bad car!

175kW with a tune and intake, does sound like there's a problem there. Mine with TBE, flat panel K&N filter replacement & CT tune, made 191.3kW & 495Nm (and reproduced those numbers at the recent CT dyno day), and that wasn't even a power tune (conservative)..

This was a harsh dyno i thinks... Cause a new golf r made 135kw atw and FPV GT that makes 390rwkw made 320rwkw and apparently thats the most they have ever gotten from a N/A V8.
My first run was 179fwkw then dropped about 7fwkw over 3 runs. I think from memory a Boxter S made 120rwkw as well.

135kW ATW is about right for a Golf R with 188kW ATflyW with approx 25% drivetrain loss

Certainly does! comes on early too peaking at only 3700 RPM. Mind you, my old Gen 1 MPS tuned hit ~475Nm at only 3100 RPM (it was fekking balistic - in 4th gear!)
