If its like the DP's for the 3, the corksport one doesn't have a cat = not legal for a road car, and will trigger a Check Engine Light.

a part from the obvious difference with one having a separate pipe for the wastegate gasses to improve flow, the CP-E downpipe has a hiflow cat where as the other has no cat hence the price difference.

No cat = more chance of stock turbo fail, engine light, not legal

Cat or no cat, you won't get a CEL if the O2 sensor is placed (tricked) right. This "trick" will only work on 3 MPS Gen 1 and 6 MPS.
3 MPS Gen 2 can't run catless. (that I know of)

Twin DP Vs single DP :
Twin DPs act like having an external gate setup.
Both make similar peak power figures, but, a well designed twin DP can make more power down low, by bringing boost on quicker and holding it for longer. (A correctly made DP, that is)

Running catless is in no way a contribution to the turbo failure. It just shows up sooner by not "restricting" or "masking" the issue.

And looking at the link supplied, the Corksport item is flawed in its design.
By flawed, I mean, it could make more power, but, it won't cause issues as it is.
The manufacturer obviously has little or no knowlede of air/gas flow.

Or ask 2XS if he has developed a 6MPS downpipe, or best mufflers do one too, that's supposed to be good!
