Got my Remsa's last week. Great pads always loved them. Cheers boys
Hi,
I would probably still go with the Remsa pads then. These will last a while, and they will help your rotors last a while also. The A1RM's are a lot harsher on rotors as they are a street and track pad. Not to mention they can tend to be very noisy on the street.
Remsa pads will be $123 inc gst for the front set and $95 inc gst for the rear set. The easiest way to order is credit card over the phone, 1300 884 836, or else swing me your full name, email address, delivery address (preferably a work or business address!!) and contact number and I can fire you through an quote with direct deposit details.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Regards Matt

Have a very slight metal on metal noise from the front right wheel when driving, pretty sure its the pads, however they dont look too bad. Will be looking at getting a pair of the Remsas soon anyway.
How much for a set of front for a Mazda 6 MPS?
Cheers.

Thanks boys got them yesterday around 2 so all good!
Putting them in this weekend. cheers !
Got my DBA4000 and Remsa Pads and installed about 3 weeks ago.
after 10 mins driving it was very noise, so I dropped my car back to check and the guy who installed it said it's normal.
now I have been driving about 2 tanks of petrol and still every time after 10-15 mins driving, the noise comes out when hitting the brake at low speed before car stopped, and it's still loud.
Does this happen to everyone else??

Hi,
No this is not normal in the MPS 3's. If you are having squealing issues, generally something was done incorrectly during the installation. And if your mechanic has said that squealing brakes is normal, then that does not instill much confidence.
These pads have a very obvious inner and outer pad. If these have been put in the wrong way around, then it is possible that the spring clips designed to sit inside the caliper pistons are not going to work. They will need to be swapped from left to right in the caliper. If they have been put in the correct sides, there may not be enough tension in the spring clips. This can be fixed by taking the pads out and just bending the spring clips out a bit so that they fit a little bit tighter in the pistons.
Also do you know if they where bed in correctly? They may need a bit of a scuff up on some concrete and then re bed in again if they werent done properly the first time.
Personally i use Remsa pads in my car which uses a very similar pad shape and caliper set up to the MPS 3, and mine dont make any noise.
Let me know how you go.

I got DBA T3 rotors and remsa pads. They squeal only after they get very hot, personally I like the sound as it tells me the brakes are warmed up
however normal street driving it doesn't make this sound. Double check that they mechanics put the anti-squeal shims back in. You will be able to see them from the outside with the wheels on
Ok thank you Matt, I might go back to them and ask them to check again,Cheers
