    Default Broken Down HELP!!!

Hi all, i'll get to the point quickly as im tired as after a long day.

Driving the MPS 3 home from the station, went to accelerate quickly through a roundabout and got a large amount of axe tramp, and then as soon as it happened engine cut out and switched off.

Didn't realise when it happened but when i went for second gear and nothing happened it was a worry. Then pulled over and went to restart and it turns over fine no issues there but it doesn't start.

I got out my phone and OBD and ran a check on the codes found 6 :S which were:
    P2088
    P0102
    P2128
    P2101
    P0091
    P0433

The RACV dude came cleared the codes and checked over everything but the codes the relate to the Fuel Pump and Cam and Crank sensors cleared those too remained.

I have no idea, it got towed home and will be working out where to take in to find the issue.

Any knowledge of this happening before?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P2088 - Variable valve timing control circuit low.
P0102 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) Circuit Low Input
P2128 - Accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor No.2 circuit high input
P2101 - Drive-by-wire relay control circuit problem ON 1 CCM
P0091 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Solenoid 1 Control Circit Low Voltage
P0433 - Heated Catalyst Efficiency below Threshold (Bank2)

My best guess would be that you've got a wiring loom problem... Hopefully the loose loom hasn't shorted and damaged anything and just needs to be reconnected. When checking the looms also check to make sure the loom wasn't pulled loose by a collapsed engine/gearbox mount

I would also check loom and especially transmission mount.

Ok thanks guys i'll send it somewhere to get a good look over and tell them what i think the issue is hopefully its all good thou.

Would these looms be the one's near the battery?

The aggressiveness of the tramping might of dislodged the loom maybe... hopefully

Check all the fuses again yourself. I've pulled fuses out that look fine but are in fact shagged.

I think that means he has no idea what he's looking at.
Any half decent mechanic should know how to check a fuse and KNOW if its ok and not just "think" they are ok

Yeah, i didn't see what he did so not sure if he checked with his eye or with his electronic pronge. TBH i wouldn't be that much better but it isn't my occupation lol.

The looms near battery seem fine (to me) i unplugged them inspected them didn't seem to be anything wrong with them and plug them back in still nothing o well, i dont need a car for a while uni was finished yesterday so i'll see how mazda go.

Thanks guys , i'll let you know what mazda turn up.

Question - if this fuse issue is common. Why?
Fuses don't normally blow just for the fun of it. There has to be a reason.

Excessive movement in the engine bay due to someone's throttle effort

Ok guys i manned up just before and thought screw this i'll follow the advice of you guys and check the fuses again... And how-would-be ENG BAR 1 (15 A) fuse was blown, so replaced it with the 15 A from the horn and went to turn her over but the battery is dead , probably from the time i tried to start it yesterday and friday and the hazards being on for 5 hours lol.

Its on charge now hopefully tomorrow morning will find out if she lives.

The source of the issue you say?

The Air Intakes 90 degree clamp pierced the rubber on one of the wires that runs to the MAF... So i re taped this and move the clamp into a different spot. I hope this was the issue , cant wait to drive it if it lives tomorrow morning.

Thanks for all the advice and tips guys
