RedDjinn is on the money, you are boned. They have your money and squeezing it out of hem will be harder than squeezing blood from a stone.
If you were australian, I'd say contact NSW Office of Fair Trading who help mediate between you and them (I had some luck this approach way last year with a warranty issue). Not sure if you have this option being from NZ, but you can give it a shot. Send them an email and explain your situation.
And you have probably done this already, but send iirps a stern email that you are dissatisfied and want either your parts or your money back, else you will contact the office of FT/a lawyer.
