    You lot dribble crap...

Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it here in between all the 3 vs. 6 stuff

Sounds like you have a great Mazda family with the MPS and RX-8 in the garage, best of both worlds there.

This article is about roadgoing sports cars. For the type of motorsport, see Sports car racing.

    1963 Jaguar E-Type, a classic sports car

    1963 Chevrolet Corvette
A sports car is a term used to describe a class of automobile. The exact definition varies, [1] but generally it is used to refer to a low to ground, light weight vehicle with a powerful engine. Most vehicles referred to as sports cars are rear-wheel drive, have two seats, two doors, and are designed for more precise handling, acceleration, and aesthetics. A sports car's dominant considerations can be superior road handling, braking, maneuverability, low weight, and high power, rather than passenger space, comfort, and fuel economy.
Sports cars can be either luxurious[2] or spartan, but driving mechanical performance is the key attraction. Many drivers regard brand name and the subsequent racing reputation and history as important indications of sporting quality (for example, Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus), but some brands, such as Lamborghini, which do not race or build racing cars, are also highly regarded.
A car may be a sporting automobile without being a sports car. Performance modifications of regular, production cars, such as sport compacts, sports sedans, muscle cars, hot hatches and the like, generally are not considered sports cars, yet share traits common to sports cars. They are sometimes called "sports cars" for marketing purposes for increased advertising and promotional purposes.[3] Performance cars of all configurations are grouped as Sports and Grand tourer cars, or, occasionally, as performance cars.
A sports car does not require a large, powerful engine, though many do have them. Many classic British sports cars lacked powerful engines, but were known for exceptional handling due to light weight, a well-engineered, balanced chassis, and modern suspension (for example, Lotus Seven, Austin 7 Speedy). On tight, twisting roads, such a sports car may perform more effectively than a heavier, more powerful car.

    (Redirected from Mazdaspeed 3)

The Mazdaspeed3 or Mazdaspeed Axela is a sport compact hatchbackintroduced by Mazdaspeed for the 2007 model year, as a performance-enhanced version of the Mazda3. Mazda unveiled the Mazda3 MPS at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show in February. The same model will be sold in North America as the Mazdaspeed3 and as the Mazdaspeed Axela in Japan. Pricing is to start at US$ 22,835 (including destination) and it is designed to compete with the latest generation of hot hatches, including the Dodge Caliber SRT-4, and the new Volkswagen Golf/Rabbit GTI.

I fail to see how the MPS3 can put down better times in a straight line and around a track than the MPS6 and be considered an inferior car

I would love to come on next cruise... some 1 update me with a when and where and ill try my best to attend. In all honesty i don't really care about the 6v3 (notice the 6 came first, lol) crap, and the 6 is a family car, thats why i brought it, it is also closer to a sports vehicle than the 3 is, so would you not want it. HA HA HA, stab stab. Be dammed if i was gettting a tarrago troop carrier. MPS fits my family perfectly and i can remove all trace of the kids with in 10min. AWESOME. It then becomes my mountain hugging speed machine!

You 3 owners say the 6 is a glorified sedan, well i think your 3 is a glorified SP23. Its the same, you just got a lil baby turbo added in, at least we got more extras to separate us from the pack.

Also go the chicks! Love to see you all cause we rock! I hope no guys own the 6 in RED cause that is such a chicks color, i call it lipstick red. lol. I have seen a few guys driving it, it honestly looks like they took the wife's car out. HA HA HA, the purple or silva is for the guys.

Speed is not everything, simple... we get more than you do, u only go faster cause your lighter... if you had a full tank i had a near empty 1, it would be a very interesting race.

    Some extras....hmm

18" alloys and HID are extras....

I think the same extras that are on a 6MPS over a luxury 6.

Which ever way you look at it...

Its obvious the 3MPS was sportier...they no longer make the 6MPS and the 3MPS will have a new model mid next year...

    Happy Motoring
