So, what Col said was correct - BP (and Caltex) are generally considered the best?
Thanks guys - cheers!
Hey all,
Just looking at getting some roof racks for the MPS, mainly for transporting two cycling road bikes.
Has anyone had them fitted? Any info incl price and maybe somewhere in Bris where...
I'm actually down in Sydney at the moment on holidays (without the MPS, have the misses 6 here) but I'll definitely give that "percussion adjustment" a go when I'm home!
Mate mine has only just started doing it - I've just been ignoring it and hoping it goes away...
Mine is a Gen 1, '08 MPS with 6000km on the clock - let me know if you come up with a solution....
Done and done - cheers Shakespeare! I like the concept MPS6 - I'd def go for it!
I was thinking about all the above - why not try to push it into the next class up. Push it over the $50 - 60k mark, AWD. Maybe rival the STI?
Agree with Dan - a MPS6 AWD wagon would be my next...
Hey all,
I might have missed this somewhere but is there a plan for a Mazda6 MPS Gen 2?
A.
Hmmmm, thanks guys.. The next thing I'll need to work out now is what to get done! What gives the best results..
Thanks lads,
A.
Hey all,
Can anyone provide some advice on what performance modifications that can be done and don't void the warranty? Is there anything at all?!
Considering my warranty doesn't expire until...
Jmac - wicked 'review' on the downlow procedure. Good read :-)
I think the best point you made is that there is no such thing as a 'once off price'. Total bullshit.
Good work.

Thanks mate - I'll check it out later this week.. Even though I think the previous (I dont like using the word 'old') model is far better than the newer model, its still new.. And the push start is...
What dealerships did you lads head to? Maybe the Mod's or Admins can use the OzMPSClub name to get us some discounts at one dealership per state? Better than 10 people going to 10 different places.....
I think the '08 and previous MPS was much, much better! I think I've been known to call it 'awesome' even once or twice. Mazda has always needed to fight against the 'hairdressers' style of motor...
Meh, I'll be keeping my awesome '08 MPS thank you very much Mazda... (maybe for a bit longer anyway, having way to much fun...)

I'm pleased you guys enjoyed my 'first time' as much as I did. Might lay off for the second time, learn a few things from mates, get some advice from those weird but great uncles.. Again, I liken it...
Firstly, new nickname for me from tonight...
Secondly....
Ok, it happened, for the first time and it happened tonight and it was awesome. I liken it to my first time having sex. Some of us (the...
Yeha I'd be interested to see/know what people have done - I've also got the iPhone..
In addition, has anyone done or seen this been done...?
Mazda3 Monitor - Intallation guide
Heya all,
Well I'm a bit sick of the old TomTom and wondered what GPS/NAV set-ups users around here have? I have seen a few piccies of one that is a whole system which replaces the CD player etc....
Thats for all the advice and feedback guys..
You might just be right Duglet, hardly my fault considering... ;-)
G'day All,
Well I've had the new car for about 36 hours now and only one thing really pisses me off - the seat belt warning beeping! What an absolute pain in the arse.
Now before anyone flies...
Interesting.. Havent heard about these 'invisible' ones, might look them up. Im heading down for work for a couple of days - am going to take a few days off either side to take the MPS for a drive...
Guys - am I the only one that really, really prefers the current model to the new one?! Understood the interior may be 'cooler' with Sat Nav etc, but can you really go past the leather with cloth...
