I've just ordered the DBA 4000 6x6 wiper-slot rotors for the front with HAWK HPS pads from MPS Garage.
Will report on the combination's merit following a track day in mid August.

Well Kumho's Australian website quotes $385 per corner but I may have an opportunity to get them quite a bit cheaper ... Will let you guys know whether it materialises or not. The KU36's UTQG rating...
Welcome :yoman:
You're probably right, but the Bilsteins just ride beautifully. A mate of mine has done the same thing on his MY05 Liberty GT with front/rear sways and front/rear lower arm braces and it doesn't ride...
Yeah parts only. Tony said that they would install the whole lot for $350 but I ended up getting it done at my dealership ... :D
Hehe, I ain't lettin' her get any o' dat! She did insist that she take one of the hats though ...
I had squeaking issues that I thought were from the suspension until I worked out it was from the exhaust donut squeezed between the two flanges.
Is it DEFINITELY the rear suspension?
Cheers dude! Hehe yeah I thought I recognised your avatar. I'll let you guys know, and I'll probably post it in the cruises section.
umm .. okay ... I'll take your 'words' for it ;)
Sounds like the Hawk HPS pads have a good mix of decent performance in spirited driving and pricing.
And I totally agree that the OEM pads are damn good for OEM, but (in agreeance with Duglet) we...
I'm about to order some Kumho Ecsta KU36 semi-slicks in 225/40 R18.
Will let you guys know if / when I get them and what I think.
That's awesome news. Welcome back! :burnout:
*that's a little rich coming from me ... a member of 1.5 days ...*
Hehe cheers guys I really appreciate it.
Just one thing though, who / what is PV? Pardon my ignorance ...
I bought the Bilsteins and Eibach's from Heasman's in Sydney, the Bilstein distributor in Australia.
I got both front / rear B8's and front / rear Eibach pro-kits for $1900. I think the B8's were...
Done :afro:
Depends what you need it for, and yes adjustability is a wonderful thing, but you have to remember that coilover ride isn't for everybody, nor is it completely necessary for 90%road use. But then...
Sounds great mate! I'm really keen to meet up with fellow MPS drivers out there in Newcastle and Sydney (since I'm down there so often) and KK's SERIOUSLY needs more presence from us! Its all...
Okay, everyday driving comfort hasn't suffered much like a lot of coilover setups are prone to. I drive open roads to work so irritating levels of NVH and ride discomfort put me off completely first...
I've only just put my new version CPE mount in (about a week ago), so fingers crossed that similar things don't happen ...
Will do!
For anyone interested, I'm down in Sydney at least once a month at my mate's place and we almost always make trips out to Liverpool Krispy Kreme on the Friday night. I will post up next...
Hey guys,
I can't seem to find any posts on this combination so I thought I'd post up.
I recently had Bilstein B8 shocks installed all around complemented with Eibach pro-kit springs all round...
