Digging up this thread! Been using BP98 since new, car has just ticked over 6000km. The trip computer varies between an average of 8.8 to 9lt/100km, seems to more closely reflect 10lt/100km going on...
Ours is the updated series 2 (white, black wheels, shark fin) and it has a USB port in the centre console. Also has the aux port in there too
Thanks for the replies! I'll take it in to the local tyre place to have the toe checked. Could take it to pedders for a giggle too, see how many broken things there are on a 2 month old car :-P
Hi All,
I know the tyre wear for our tyres is not great since its a sticky performance tyre, but just wanted to throw a question out there. The picture shows our factory Dunlop tyres with 4000km...
One of the reasons we chose an MPS over a WRX was due to not many MPS's on the road. Everyday I see a ton of WRX's cruising around, but only a 1 or 2 MPS's a week, bit of an exclusive feeling.
On our 2nd tank of BP ultimate. It's the closest servo to us that does 98. There is a Shell and Caltex a little bit further away, might give their 98 fuels a try for a few tanks each. People are...
The pearl white is a stunning colour. I picked up mine 1 1/2 weeks ago. Smile every time I drive it :-)
Legend! I'll give this a crack.
Speed cameras are being put into sneaky spots and downhill runs too, anything to catch you doing that few to many kph over the limit. Like Doug said, if the money...
Thanks for the reply Doug :-) I appreciate your advice.
Pringle: in WA they use forward and rear facing cameras. The valentine can detect the forward facing ones from a few hundred metres back...
Just did a search for dash removal and it comes up with one for the MPS 6. Could you please post the link for the 3?
Thank you very much for this advice! Now to get the power cable from the cigarette lighter area to pop out in the middle of the dash where the windscreen is, is it best to run the cable to the right...
Thanks for the welcome!
I saw the thread for the cruise, will see if the wife is interested in it. If not I may have to go solo, I will of course be nice to our car...
Thank you for the response. The power supply you mentioned, is it in the drivers side foot well area? Just want to clear up the location of the power source before I start ripping panels off :-P

Hey all!
Picked up our brand spanking new MPS in white on Wednesday night. Absolute pleasure to drive
Wife loves to drive it, so first purchase was a radar detector for little miss...
Hi All,
Just bought a Valentine 1 to install in our 3 MPS. In WA as well :-)
I want to hard wire it in and it comes with the necessary kit to do it, and I am comfortable in doing it, but I...
Just wanted to confirm what I had read :-) The extra $5 a tank is not a piggy bank buster :-P
Reading through this thread 99% of people are using 98. Since the car requires 95, is there any honest reason to use 98 instead of say BP 95 PULP?
