This arrived yesterday.... Interesting!
Typically front to rear and rear to front - on the same side thus maintaining rotational direction.
.... unless there are some newer 'old' thoughts on the subject!
OK - so only had a short run back from the dealer to work yesterday and then back home last night. (The boss has her car back today for the day  - no problem I'm back in my 5!!...
OK - so I had the call from the dealer yesterday and the car is currently in their shop. They have never done this before... I was/am hoping to see what the difference is between the one fitted...
Abso - bloody - lutely! :2thumb: The clutch is now a very natural action, pull off is smooth as!
Remember - try it - if you don't like it then just revert to what you had - but I bet you...
My last post made me think of the list of "Do's or Dont's" (mostly dont's of course) that I give the dealer when the car goes in for the service:
Don'ts:
- wash the car (they will never do it the...
In the end all the dealers are the same - you have to try keep them honest.
I had brake problems on my MX-5 where I suddenly had nothing coming in to the last corner before the Wakefield straight....
Definite improvement :2thumb: - brownie points coming (maybe?) http://www.ozmpsclub.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gif
Back to the clutch...
Has anyone tried this adjustment of the clutch pedal?

I did a trial today - 2 turns...
Took the car in to have Mr Mazda have a look (listen!) on Wednesday. Had a call from the dealer Friday that they are ordering a new diff mount from Japan...
It may all take a while but at least...
Had a meeting with Mr Mazda today (re my diff whine) - got him thinking about the idea of dual coil springs for the resistance for the throttle action - we need a soft one for the intial take off and...
I did mine a few weeks back - used Motospray from a local auto spares outlet.
What I do is to spray some into the can's plastic cap & then use a paintbrush to apply a few coats.
Looking at...
Mines an '07 with 11500km on it. Also has a "grabby" clutch which occassionally catches one. It's a pain when in the daily traffic grind!
Also makes it odd when getting back into the MX5 or...
Another link (albeit from the USA) to a First Drive of the new MPS3...

Site says it all I reckon - if it had more changes then they would show them. Anyway - the $2700 would cover the wheels, Recaro's & Alcantara - not much more IMO.
You can of course get a...
Alternatively (or additionally) mark the tyre with chalk and roll the car - and thus make sure the rolling circumference is the same.
I don't see that it'd make much of a difference though - more...
Thanks - Great stuff - learn something new ATT (all the time!):keg:
(How does that work?)
Thanks for the feedback so far guys.
Looks like I may have more issues to "look forward to"...
Anyway - I'll be pushing on to some resolution as it's the "major" issue I have (currently) - so...
(At the risk of duplicating previous threads!)
We've had our MPS 6 for just over a month now and found the time to go past the local dealer this am to arrange a minor service (10k km service done...

You've probably had the job done - but just for completeness I've downloaded the MPS 3 manual and grabbed the following out of the manual for removal of the rear seat - essentially the same...
Stevie
I would imagine the MPS 3 and 6 will be the same (most cars are very similar).
All you need to do is gently pull up the back seat squab about a foot in from the edge on both sides -...
Guys - Disconnecting the multiplug has NO affect on any other function... (MX-5 NB & NC and MPS 6)
Hi Jakes - where in SA are you? From my old days you can certainly make the best of the 6 in SA - far less draconian road rules than we have here with the speed limit posted at 120 km/h - but...
That sounds pretty interesting - will see what can be done for a few days off... Where does the run start from? and at what time?
(Now lets see - Winter in the 6, summer in the 5 - could work...
