Thanks so much Shaneski, cleared up a lot of things
Thanks shaneski, I did read that he said the OEM flowed better, but didn’t know any context behind it, or have any dyno sheets etc. was thinking of porting the flange of going down that route.
any...
Hi all,
im looking at changing my exhaust manifold and have the option between a Steedspeed one (now discontinued) or an XSPower. This is to match with my GTX2871r with stock flange. Has anyone...
Sorry for the lack of update, haven’t been able to work on the car for weeks. But pulled off the intake manifold thermal gasket and believe it might have been leaking under boost. To add to my woes,...
I notice my boost drops as soon as my intake valve timing goes to zero, not sure if that is normal
At idle my stft is -0.2 and ltft is 5.8. Also for the KR is this not spool kr?
Thanks Shane,
I thought at WOT fuel trims aren’t used?
For the TIG, they did come with instructions and followed them to the T (used the same torque wrench when timing), but they could still...
Hi all, so I’m chasing why my car is making low power. I’m making only around 255hp at the wheels and 270ftlb (using Vdyno, settings are correct), modded and tuned.

Pretty sure the revised VVT actuator has a letter C stamped on the end after some letters
Hi all,
thought I would make a quick list of oils I use and have had good results with for the Mazda 6 MPS:

Hi great brain trust,
My woes continue, as my car has thrown a P0340 code.

Haha, I actually have front strut bar (does nothing) and rear sway bar (24mm), but now looking at a group buy for subframe braces, tierods, rear and mid braces, rear strut, camber and sway bar links....
No issue as such with handling, just wanting it a bit tighter, I prefer to setup my car for auto-x type handling
How did you end going with this? Needing to get mine replaced and a spare made up
Hi everybody (in Dr.Nicks voice from the Simpsons),
Finally getting the car back on the road, but wanting to see what can be to give better grip and handling on the MPS 6. Atm, I have rear sway...
Hey AJ, its Rukibriz, haha.
I've just recently fitted up the NPC 5 puck and I'm driving that around fine, but takes getting used to. They do have a cushion ceramic disc, which will still handle...
Hi, how did you do your compression test, was it cold, warm, wet or dry, etc?
so a short video of my having clutch in to clutch out.
Hi and welcome. That is rather odd, might be to improve the sound and the expense of fresh air, or depending on location, could be there to stop water intake
Welcome and congrats on the purchase, I have a red 6 MPS as well! There would be a few things I would check first before the looks, like when was the last time the chain and VVT were done, does it...
Hey Crom and Ruzki, welcome and congrats on the purchases of the MPS cars :).
As shaneski was saying, Cobb AP is the way to go, it works different from other traditional tuning methods, in the...
This thread uses some pictures and references to an original post by “jrzy ms6” and "DynoBunny" on MSF
This was done on a 6 MPS, but should be fairly much the same for the 3 MPS.
...
Yeah bought the whole kit from them, threw me off for a bit :/
I have a 6, I'll send you an email
Also @MPS2NV, what upgraded clutch line do you use?
The kit came with 2 throwout bearings, one stock and one that is almost twice the thickness. I have installed the thicker one, based on going from a Dual mass to a single mass, need the extra...
