So if just changing out the map sensor for a 3bar,is it a straight swap and thats it?or does that also require some sort of recalibration?

what determines running it 2 port or 3 port?

It sounds like the noise is from the solenoid being energised and de-energised,the best bet would be to move it as far from the firewall as possible.

I have this same noise and its doing my head in!hope someone can help
