I've only had the Bilsteins( with the Kings) for a couple of weeks. I do use the car every day though, and in Sydney's goat track roads they are excellent. I did get the opportunity to go for a fang...
Hi Vtec,
For springs I installed a set of Kings springs recently mated to Bilsteins for a 1.5 inch drop from stock. I am very happy with the result. I am not going to be doing much track work, the...
+1 on that. I've got the CorkSport MPS 6 FMIC Kit with Cold Air Induction in my 6. Best thing I ever did.

He also uses other mufflers appart from HKS, so I asked for a quote for both.
I would love the HKS mufflers but as the plan is for quite a few mods and it all adds up, I may have to go with the...
Thanks mate :afro:
Had exactly the same prob installing as you and I am using XP. Kept trying many times, also switched off my antivirus then when installed ( just for the drivers) I did not even run it, just...
Thanks mate, I'll see what I can find.
BTW whats the problem with the whiteline stuff. I haven't heard anything so I have no idea?
Its interesting that you said that and good to get an opinion of somebody who has heard both.
I have never heard the CPE one, was just going by what one of the chaps at Mpsgarage said to me about...
Thanks for your thread on the Teins. I've added them to the list of mods I am about to undertake.
I was considering changing to Bilsteins with new springs but now I think I'll go with the Teins.

I went to...
Me too, I've been thinking of the Xede and the Haltech for the mods that I am planning. Leaning more towards the Haltech both for functionality and being able to switch it to a different car. ( Have...
+ 1 on that Dicky, also is your suspension otherwise stock or have you already upgraded anything , sway bars etc?
Welcome Richard !!:afro::afro:
Welcome to the Club Chabos !!:wave::wave:
Thanks kblume,
will try the higher pressures and see how it goes. I don't mind sacrificing ride comfort for crisper handling !
Hi Nasos and Welcome !! :woot:
Will definitely be checking out your Mazda forum!!
Very interesting comments. I have noticed my front tyres always running hotter( with both front and back at 37) . I will try 40 psi in front and 38 in the back and see if the temperatures even out.
Thanks for the kind words shakespeare !!
It seems everybody runs their tyres on different pressures. How come you are on 40 psi? Isn't it too much? Aren't you getting more wear in the middle of...
Hi Sean, very interesting story and I am glad it worked out for you. I didn't have any trouble getting mine however it did take me over 7 and a half months of searching to find what I wanted. As soon...
Hi shakespeare,
Thanks for the welcome, very glad to be here. Had my car for a while but didn't know about you guys until I bumped onto the forum on the net. Learned heaps just reading thru the...
I'm the second owner of my 6 MPS. When I bought it , it had 13,000 ks on the clock and the bridgestones were cactus. I changed them at 15,000 to Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s. I deliberated quite a bit as...
