Hi just purchased a mazda 3 mps, on the road test I noticed a dash rattle coming from the windscreen area.
i couldn't stop this by hold or pressing any areas whilst driving.
i did a quick google search there and then and noticed that this is a comon issue.
are there any guides to removing the cowling as this seems to be what everyone refers to.
dont like the main dealers/stealers!!!
any help would be much appreciated
Gen1 or gen2?
I've found that the case around the seatbelt lights above the rear view mirror rattles actually in my gen1. Haven't managed to fix it yet though

Could it be the famous glovebox rattle of the 3?
I've fixed two dash rattles recently in my 3. First was the keyless entry sensor right up under the dash. Gotta remove everything to get to it. Second was the a pillar blade that goes through the dash. Both passenger side.
air vents in dash loose or seat belt lights housing.
I have fixed both in my Gen 1 MPS3 since i've owned it and have never come back in 7 years

little bit of foam around edges where they meet the roof.
