Me and my mate stumbled across this wonderful drive of road when we were detoured from Mt. Hotham due to the recent floods. Lovely piece of road. plenty of uphill and downhill twists and turns and really hardly any traffic too. Would be well suited during late spring to early autumn.
Are you talking about the Great Alpine Road?
Funny thing you should mention that Peter because its part of the Great Alpine Road but on the other side of Hotham. Because the road that goes from Bright to Mt Hotham didnt seem as nice to drive as the one from Dinner Plain
to Bairnsdale so may be more worthwhile travelling thru Sale to Bairnsdale onto Dinner Plate
