Hi all!
I have on order a gt2871r externally gated turbo, and was wondering if anyone has had experience with installing a split dump pipe such as the corksport one on an externally gated turbo? If so would it have any effect on flow through one of the sides of the split dump. I have searched through the net and havent seen anything of the sort. Thanks for any help!
No personal experience, but I think you would want to use a bellmouth DP and then have the wastegate pipe welded into the downpipe, turning it into a split dp. This is what reddjinn did in his build.
Yeah thats what I was thinking. Spoeaking to some people and since im going to just route the screamer to the ground and not into the exhaust it shall be fine. As it will still act as a split dump just routing exhaust gases into 2 directions
