A couple of pics ,re finished product. Alum fab,all exposed edges sheathed 5mm black moulding, exposed faces covered in 6mm closed cell foam with alum faced insulation.
This should assist in heat soak, whats your opinion 2XS.

My my, thats impressive.
Insulated too, what a top idea excellently executed :2thumb:
looks great, finished off very nicely! is their any air been forced into the box,or is it all sealed up?
Air is ducted into bottom of box via OEM ducting,as well as opening on rear and r/h near headlight.
I thought you said you where going to close the opening for the SRI up with a smaller ID hole than required, like a flexible flap/opening? To seal the SRI from the engine side a little better.
Otherwise, It looks better now
And............
Where's my screwdriver? LOL
:2thumb:looks good man nice job
Troy ,screwdriver is in mail, hope u get it. Might be classed in x ray as weapon.:LOL:
Looks great :2thumb: do you have a dashhawk or similar to monitor your temps? would be interesting to see how well the insulation works.
No Problems at all, now for s/s TBE and Torquechiping. Tim. The Red one will be breathing some fire soon.
