Ill put this here so i dont annoy everyone i searched it but didnt find it. Im going to get my mate a fabricator to make me a stainless steel intake pipe. What size should i go so i dont need a tune?

Hi and welcome! The main requirements to avoid needing a tune are (1) Do not touch the mass airflow sensor housing - i.e. don't replace the airbox. Some people will say that as long as the diameter of the MAF housing is the same there's no problem; that may be true but my advice would be any replacement of the MAF housing. (2) Don't do anything that increases flow so much that the fueling can't keep up.
I had similar thoughts when I was modding my BK3 and I elected to do inlet pipe (but NOT airbox), turbo manifold (but NOT downpipe) and big TMIC. This was before flash tuning was a thing. That netted me good gains that have no dramas on the stock tune. From there it can take a stage 1 off-the-shelf tune with no dramas.
