Recently purchased about 4 weeks ago True Red Gen1 MPS3 after previously owning a Black 05 SP23 from new.
Mods to date: Mazdaspeed CAI (came with car in serious need of a clean), badges sprayed black- some removed!, plastic door strips removed (somewhat painful job), 'removable' straight pipe (Race use only..!) to delete second cat and first resonator, VVT actuator/chain/all those associated bits replaced by Mazda, LED's, quick claybar and wax.
Mods required to further enjoy this car!: rear engine mount, new shocks (Mazda ones stuffed), lowered springs, wheels, tinted windows?? ...probably in that order! More noise from the exhaust would be nice too I think...though enjoying the burble and pop for now :)
